Now matching bricks on a 30 year old house is a pretty hard task and it really seems to be getting harder and harder because so many of the larger brick companies are consolidating.

Due to cost we are using siding on the addition instead of brick to match the exterior. But our addition was approved using wood siding with very tall windows all around overlooking the back yard. However new cedar shakes won t have the weathered hue of old shakes. You can choose from a sweeping variety of colors and textures or can opt to paint it yourself.
